Single-topic Mini-Sessions if he or she has specific questions;
We'll slow down and reteach at any time further explanations are desired;
Research: we'll look it up on our own time if we don't know an answer;
Pleasant interaction: we don't have to worry about saving face in front of a class;
No threat: your son or daughter doesn't have to worry either about saving face in front of a class;
No grading or performance pressures, though we'll certainly try to persuade your student to do well!

An hour of telephone consulation before we get started to learn of your concerns and preferences and your child's needs;
Both tutors will participate in this initial consultation;
Suggestions to improve your child's educational chances based on the consultation findings;
Feedback from your child's tutor after every tutorial session;
An advocate with your child's teacher: we'll communicate with the teacher and find out what we can do to help from his or her perspective;
A frank recognition of your authority in your child's life: we affirm that YOU are in the driver's seat;
We'll communicate what we learn from your child's teacher with you and establish a course of action based on your wishes;
