We seek to meet needs within the homeschool community.

We applaud the sincere motivation and tremendous efforts invested by the vast majority of homeschooling parents (we worked hard as homeschoolers and meant well, and we assume they do too). But advanced subject material can sometimes be a bit beyond a parent.

HomeschoolCovenant Tutorials
Lack of technical training: parents can do a fine job of educating their children, but may have difficulty being an expert in all subjects through high school. We have earned California teaching certificates and have taught in the public school and homeschool environments (see About Us). Our credentials listed biology and related courses, health, and general science, and we have enough university education to tutor in physics, first-year chemistry, and math through algebra.
Legitimate concerns about a tutor's biases: some tutors may be fine people, but may not share the parents' religious beliefs - or practice atheism as they seek political correctness. We've had the same concerns, and chose tutors carefully for our homeschooled daughter. We are pleased to discuss our biases: by God's grace we serve Christ rather than textbook editors or school administrators. See About Us.
Concerns about the scope of a tutor's world-view: Many tutors a homeschooling family could hire will focus too much on the subject matter and neglect the big picture. We recognize that this world is God's creation, and He is relevant to every discussion of every subject. While the task is to teach the subject material, we do so with humility and a deep understanding of Who authored "2+2=4".

Your child gets one-on-one attention from his or her own private teacher in a professional and non-threatening setting, and you get feedback and additional help in providing an education.
